Important — Know Your Rights

90 Days Notice

Your landlord must give you at least 90 days written notice before a rent increase takes effect at renewal.

Once Per Year

Rent increases can only be applied once per year — at contract renewal. Mid-contract increases are not permitted.

RERA Dispute

If your landlord demands more than the legal maximum, you can file a dispute with the Rental Dispute Settlement Centre (RDSC) in Dubai.
